Linda Saturno Selected as New Habitat President and CEO

Linda Berta Saturno has been named the new President and CEO of Henderson County and Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity. Ron Laughter, former President and CEO for the last 13 years, is retiring but is assisting with the transition.

Ms. Saturno is a native of Morganton, NC. She earned an undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University, an MBA from Queens College, and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Ms. Saturno has extensive nonprofit experience on local, national and international levels. She returns to the area after leading Child Advocacy Centers in Missouri. She has also worked with the United Nations in Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and kayaking. She looks forward to enjoying the outdoors of Western North Carolina.
